Gregory Doucet spoke briefly this Friday about Jean-Michel Aulas' candidacy in the 2026 municipal elections in Lyon.
Lyon's Green mayor, Grégory Doucet, was a guest on our colleagues at RCF Lyon this Friday morning. Asked about the now almost official candidacy of the former Olympique boss, Grégory Doucet did not yet name him as his opponent. " We will see when it comes to presenting the proposals, the visions and the programs ," the environmentalist reacted.
And to be asked about the presence or not of LFI in the union of the left he called for, a few days after having signed a platform alongside the left-wing mayors of the main cities of the agglomeration and the president of the Metropolis, Bruno Bernard. " We can extend our hand, but the other party must be willing to seize it ," replied the mayor. And to add, while the LFI deputy of Lyon is considering a candidacy in the first round: " Mine remains tense in any case. "
The mayor of Lyon was also questioned about the reform of the PLM law, which he rejects. Grégory Doucet deplores " greater complexity ," particularly due to the organization of three simultaneous elections, generating " additional costs ." The environmentalist finally reiterated that he would not vote for confidence in François Bayrou if he were a member of parliament, denouncing " immobility " and " procrastination as a form of government ."
